(SPOILERS) If you have not read the first book Nashoga (The Redstone Series) then do not read this review or until you see ***I've read the first Redstone Series "Nashoga" and loved every word in the book and was hoping the second one would be just as good. Sadly I was wrong.
After finally defeating Farkas, gaining his pack, territory and Tala back; with the cost of losing his best friend Buck; Nash was looking forward to having a normal life and was staring a family of his own with his two new addiction to the pack; Buck his son and Blue his daughter. Everything was perfect until Thunder clan comes and ask Nash for his help for not only did they lose their pack and territory, but the wolf that took control of it all was the one that Nash thought he would never have to see again comes back from the dead; Farkas.
This story is a silly one for I was really hoping for a new enemy and a new story and maybe even have a different wolf's point of view, but sadly we have a crazy wolf from the first, some kind of sprit balls that have the power of speed and heal, Buck the deer is dead and it really just goes down hill in this book.
***The end of the book was suppose to be a huge cliff hanger, but really it left wonder how the author is going to continue and will they leave a cliff hanger there. In conclusion, if the author makes a third book I'll read it, but I'm not going to get my hopes up just like you with this book.
Recommend: Kids- ok Teens and Adult- may want to look some where else

Awesome book
I've read the first book of this series, Nashoga, and I simply loved it. I was so excited to find the sequel, and now that I've read it, I have much to say. This book was well written. I loved how the book illustrated the personalities of the new characters, as well as preserving Nashoga's character all the while. Nicely done! This book was incredibly well thought out. There were a number of twists, and) never saw even one coming! From the new characters, to the new conflict, this is a wonderfully done sequel. Well done Rebecca! Can't wait for the third installment of the Redstone series!
